14 years shaping Sorgen's brand from the inside. I write about the real work — D2C strategy, ecommerce performance, creative instinct, and the occasional lesson from a good autobiography.
I'm Renuka Pinto — Head of Brand at Sorgen, where I've spent the last 14 years building something I genuinely believe in. I've been fortunate to work alongside founders who gave me the room to make decisions, fail on some of them, and grow through all of them.
My world is D2C ecommerce — Meta and Google Ads performance, creative strategy, brand identity, and the unglamorous operational work that makes it all move. I've run Shopify stores, built creative pipelines, coordinated dealers, and sat in too many briefs to count.
What I've learned is this: great brands aren't just built on good ads. They're built on clarity, consistency, and a team that's allowed to care deeply about the work.
Outside of brand life, I read. Mostly autobiographies, self-help, and a little history — stories of people who figured things out the hard way. This blog is my own small attempt at the same.
The strategy, the mistakes, the metrics that actually matter — from someone in the trenches of brand-led ecommerce.
How brands earn trust, lose it, and rebuild. Real stories from 14 years of building one brand with founders who cared.
Lessons from autobiographies, self-help shelves, and the kind of history that makes you think about the present differently.
